As a result of project outreach and feedback, the community has shaped the project in some important ways:

You said, "Create a distinctive, beautiful bridge."

We are: Working with the CRC Urban Design Advisory Group to create design guidelines that will inform continuing design efforts on the bridge, transit and highway improvements.

You said, "Find a way to improve safety and open up access to the riverfront at Marine Drive."

We are: Evaluating designs for Marine Drive that would shift the road, allow for freight movement and create better-connected greenspaces.

You said, "Provide world class pedestrian and bicycle facilities."

We are: Working with the CRC Pedestrian and Bicycle Advisory Group to define features that will improve connections and provide a safe and comfortable experience for a variety of users.

You said, "Make travel safe and easy for freight."

We are: Designing flatter grades and gentler curves at key freight on/off ramps.
